Friday Giveaway – Archangel’s Shadows by Nalini Singh

halloween

Our winner is…Lynn F. Congratulations.

Happy Friday! Halloween is almost upon us. Candy is purchased and hidden away from grabby fingers (including mine) and the kids costumes are all prepped and ready. October passed so quickly we never got around to decorating outside the house. All the Fall leaves will have to do for decoration.

This week I have a copy of Archangel’s Shadows by Nalini Singh. Since this is one of those series that I listened to, I have an audible copy which I will be starting on Monday. This will free me up to do some reading catch up while I can.

So my question to you — Will you be dressing up for Halloween?

Giveaway ends Thursday, October 30th. Open to U.S. residents, 18 years and older please.

In the wake of a brutal war, the archangel Raphael and his hunter consort, Elena, are dealing with the treacherously shifting tides of archangelic politics and the people of a battered but not broken city. The last thing their city needs is more death, especially a death that bears the eerie signature of an insane enemy archangel who cannot— should not—be walking the streets.

This hunt must be undertaken with stealth and without alerting their people. It must be handled by those who can become shadows themselves…

Ash is a gifted tracker and a woman cursed with the ability to sense the secrets of anyone she touches. But there’s one man she knows all too well without a single instant of skin contact: Janvier, the dangerously sexy Cajun vampire who has fascinated and infuriated her for years. Now, as they track down a merciless killer, their cat-and-mouse game of flirtation and provocation has turned into a profound one of the heart. And this time, it is Ash’s secret, dark and terrible, that threatens to destroy them both.

  1. Figuring out the Halloween costume is always a huge part of getting into the fall season for me. This year I’m going to be a steampunk mermaid! I’m pretty stinking excited about the costume!

  2. That sounds interesting. I’d love to see what you put together. 🙂

  3. I will go and cry in a corner now 😦 why do I have to live in germany?
Still will answer the question: We don’t really celebrate halloween and I have to work that day, so no 🙂

    • Hi. Emalie. If it makes you feel better, Halloween isn’t a holiday we get time off either. My kids are once again shocked that they have to go to school on Halloween.

      • I know you won’t get time off 🙂 Just saying that I wouldn’t have any time even if I wanted to celebrate.
Ohhh, poor kids 😀 they will get over it 😉

  4. Oh, yeah! I have a witch’s outfit I put on to hand out candy.

  5. No, I won’t

  6. My daughter and I are dressing up as Fairies. We are working her school’s trunk or treat. I have the wings, glitter and tylenol for the headaches, lol.
So excited to read this one, love the series.

  7. Yes! Especially since I will do the trick or treat with my nephew. 🙂 I’ll dress up as my ultimate favorite…as Guy Fawkes.

    thanks for the giveaway!
